H&M Study Visit

First-year students in the Retail Management program had a study visit at H&M's Head Office in central 海角社区下载.

Sam Miller, Global Head of Franchise at H&M Group, opened the session with an inspiring presentation on how H&M “Liberate Fashion for the Many", focusing on how they integrate affordable fashion with sustainability across all its brands. He emphasized the importance of balancing accessibility with responsibility, highlighting how these values are embedded in the group's overall strategy, ensuring global relevance, scalability, and long-term impact across all its brands.

Following the presentation, Sanna Ulander introduced students to a typical day in the life of a product developer at H&M, offering a closer look at the company's approach to agile production, flexibility, and smart planning throughout the product life cycle. Discussions centered on how product teams manage timelines, placing certain items early in the process while leaving others open to adapt to trends, and how circular thinking and recycling are built into development from the start.
