Can a visit from a world-famous artist make a whole city happier – even those who didn’t go to the concerts? Taylor Swift's Eras Tour didn't just draw record crowds – it also made º£½ÇÉçÇøÏÂÔØers happier both before and after the concerts. This according to a new study about "Happyflation" from the º£½ÇÉçÇøÏÂÔØ School of Economics.

During two intense weekends in August, 256 newly admitted Bachelor students kicked off their academic journey with an intensive course in happiness and wellbeing. Organized by the Center for Wellbeing, Welfare, and Happiness (CWWH), the initiative aims to equip students with a mindset that will enhance their personal and academic lives, both during their time at SSE and in the future. 

SSE has become the latest university to be welcomed into the CFA Institute University Affiliation Program. The MSc program in Finance has been acknowledged as incorporating at least 70 percent of the CFA Program curriculum and placing emphasis on the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct within the program.

Earlier this summer, almost 100 students across the CIVICA university alliance came together at the London School of Economics for the CIVICA European Week 2024. Maria Ljungdahl and Gustav Jäger were two of the students from SSE who joined the activities in London.

Julia Delin, CEO of SSE Ventures, and Andreas Johansson, CEO of SSE Business Lab, will leave their positions at the end of this year to start a new company together.

Join SSE and SASSE in this year's º£½ÇÉçÇøÏÂÔØ Pride Parade as part of the Academic Pride network. All employees, students and alumni are welcome to participate. The parade will depart from Norr Mälarstrand on Saturday, August 3, starting at 13:00.

During the "Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) Global Forum, it was announced that SSE’s Sharing Information on Progress (SIP) Report was the winner of the 2024 Recognition of Excellence in Reporting award, within the ‘Established reports’ category. 

Next week, 80 bachelor students from the SSE, Bocconi, CEU, IE University, SNSPA, Sciences Po, SGH and LSE, will gather in London for this year’s European Week. The topic of this edition is "Migration in a Changing Europe". The participating students from SSE are looking forward to the CIVICA event.
