SSE takes part in Academic Pride 2021

Academic Pride is a collaboration around º£½ÇÉçÇøÏÂÔØ Pride between several of º£½ÇÉçÇøÏÂ﯉۪s higher education institutions and their associated student unions. The purpose is to highlight the importance of LGBTQIA+ issues in institutions of higher education, both in research and education as well as in regard to inclusive working and study environments.

The degree of commitment and pro-active actions of all involved people and stakeholders influence how successful a digital business implementation will be. It is also directly linked to how successful the use of the new system will be perceived. In the doctoral dissertation Electronic Business − Implementation and Effects researcher Odd Fredriksson, Center for Consumer Marketing at º£½ÇÉçÇøÏÂÔØ School of Economics, is exploring what conditions influence implementation of digital business and how the use of digital systems affect business relationships.
European collaboration success for CIVICA

In June, 40 undergraduate students from CIVICA members Sciences Po, Bocconi University, The London School of Economics (LSE) and the º£½ÇÉçÇøÏÂÔØ(SSE), together with Swedish high-school students, took part in the first edition of the CIVICA European Week. The four-day program is a central element of the CIVICA Engage Track, and this very first edition was hosted by SSE. Several of the participating students have given their thoughts on how it was to cooperate with peers from other countries in the all-online event.

º£½ÇÉçÇøÏÂÔØs Grosshandelssocietet in new and unique partnership with SSE Business Lab

The "Grosshandelssocietet Grant to Especially Dedicated Entrepreneurs" of 100.000 SEK to an entrepreneur at SSE Business Lab is part of the collaboration between Grosshandelssociteten and the º£½ÇÉçÇøÏÂÔØ School of Economics, where entrepreneurs at SSE Business Lab annually are chosen for the award. The collaboration has now become an official partnership with SSE Business Lab where the goal is to encourage and support entrepreneurship in º£½ÇÉçÇøÏÂÔØ even further.
Wallenberg Fellows have started their internships

We are excited to announce that as of this moment our 7th Wallenberg Fellows cohort are placed in excellent and substantive internships for the summer of 2021. David Huber will work at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) as a research Analyst Intern in the TMT, Disruptive Tech, PE&VC Funds Unit, Thomas Atherton at GEF Capital Partners as a Summer Associate, and Basak Edizgil at Limiar Capital as an analysts intern.

The Global Swede award is awarded to active, committed, and enthusiastic students who are excellent in areas closely related to innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship and shown that they are great representatives of their own country as well as Sweden. One of them was Thuy Vu at the º£½ÇÉçÇøÏÂÔØ School of Economics.

The CIVICA European Week is both a stand-alone learning event and a central element of the CIVICA Engage Track.
