The Swedish Gender Equality Agency's thesis competition was organized for the first time in 2021. The content related criterion for participation in the competition is that the essay contributes to knowledge about gender equality policy or social development based on the ambitions of gender equality policy.

Assistant professor Kaisa Koskela-Huotari, received the corporate partner award late 2022 for her research. Kaisa joined the Department of Marketing and Strategy in April 2021. Her research interests lie at the intersection of service-dominant logic, institutional theory, and systems thinking.

Students Katarina Li Qiu and Buene Gjana have been awarded the Gun and Einar Larsson Scholarship 2023 (GELS) for their project 鈥淭he Making of Rwanda鈥檚 Physical Education Curriculum鈥�.
